Downhill Racer
This was suggested by the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics
Downhill final when
Franz Klammer, a local Austrian -- and world champion
in the downhill over many
years -- drew the last of 15 spots, on a
course which was glare ice and deeply rutted
by 14 finalists before him.
His death-defying run, averaging over 100 mph, often
balanced
on one leg leaning over disaster, would be well worth viewing on YouTube.
It is important to see this video to understand why certain people are champions
...and the rest of us choose not to be.
